Men’s Hoops (14-14) plays back-to-back at home to open March action against NC State (11-17) on Saturday and Miami (6-22) on Tuesday:
Downing Wake Forest earlier this month, NC State scored 85 points, the most against an ACC opponent this season and the most points for NC State since December 22 (Rider, 89 points)
The team also hit a season-high 13 three-pointers in the win, it's most three-pointers against an ACC opponent since February 11, 2023 (Boston College, 15)
Proving to be one to watch, freshman Paul McNeil had the hottest game of career as he poured 24 points
He shot 8-of-13 from the field and 4-of-7 from three-point range
In the Hurricanes defeat to No. 2 Duke, graduate student Lynn Kidd poured 17 points to attain his 16th double-digit outing of the season
First-year player Divine Ugochukwu grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds against the Blue Devils to become the first Miami freshman to record 10-plus rebounds in a game in five years (since Isaiah Wong (12), Feb. 19, 2020)
Earlier in the week, redshirt junior A.J. Staton-McCray eclipsed the 1,000-point mark in his career with 21 points in Miami’s defeat versus the Hokies (leading Miami in scoring)

Women’s Basketball (21-8) heads West to face Stanford (15-13) on Sunday before beginning ACC Tournament play:
To date, Stanford is 25th in the nation in 3-point percentage (.361)
Over the past 10 games, Cardinal freshmen and sophomores have accumulated a combined score of 421 of Stanford’s 661 points (63.7 percent) and snatched 189 of its 350 rebounds (54.0 percent)
The Cardinal’s 2025 recruiting class entailing three five-star talents and two four-stars, is ranked No. 3 nationally by espnW HoopGurlz
On Jan. 27, it was announced that three Stanford student-athletes would participate in the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Game on April 1 in Brooklyn
The team’s three McDonald’s All Americans are almost as many as the rest of the ACC combined (4)
