Women’s Basketball (22-9) prepares to compete in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament against NC State (24-5) this afternoon:
NC State closed out the ACC regular season, 16-2, winning 20 of the last 22 games with a total of five ranked wins after starting the season 4-3
Wolfpack standout Zoe Brooks was tabbed the ACC Most Improved Player, the first time a member of the Pack has been presented with that award
In regular season play, she averaged 14.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game this season, as well as 15.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists
NC State head coach Moore earned ACC Coach of the Year, his fourth time by the ACC, 15th overall

Men’s Hoops (16-14) takes on Wake Forest (20-10) on the road in its final battle of the regular season this Saturday before kicking off ACC Tournament action on Wednesday:
Wake Forest is currently in sixth place in the conference standings with a chance to secure a top-four seed and double bye in the ACC Tournament
The Demon Deacons trail its all-time series with Tech, 47-43
In their last meeting, the Yellow Jackets saw a narrow 70-69 victory over the Deacs
WF will be looking to match the program record of 13 ACC regular season victories set three previous times during the 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2021-22 seasons
