On October 24, 2015, Georgia Tech hosted Florida State in a memorable game marked by wet and rainy conditions. In a dramatic finish known as the "Miracle on Techwood Drive," Georgia Tech blocked a 56-yard game-winning field goal attempt by No. 9 Florida State with six seconds remaining. Linebacker Lance Austin returned the blocked kick 78 yards for a touchdown as time expired, securing a stunning 22-16 victory for the Yellow Jackets.
